Whenever a tradesman does work that is exceptional we normally want to tell others about it. For us, such is the case with Glenn Stuart of A Class Decks & Pergolas. Glenn’s quote for our large Merbau deck was the lowest of four but when we saw his efficiency we realised how he is able to do that.
Glenn was prompt, reliable, worked consistently without a break and delivered exactly what we wanted. The quality of the finish of our deck could not have been bettered. In fact, we were so delighted with it that we changed another plan and had him come back to build three screen fences using blue gum and stained to compliment the deck. This also was perfectly done and the quoted price was lower than another.
We have no hesitation in recommending Glenn for any work such as this.

As house-proud residents, we would like to share the difficulties we encountered in deciding what building materials would best suit our situation. Similarly, once decided, which tradesman or company would best suit the job at hand?
In deciding the materials best suited for our situation, my wife convinced me to look, and I stress "look only" at the option of using lattice as opposed to other more "traditional" screens such as Colourbond, brush panels, etc just to name a few. Enquiry's led to a number of quotes and designs, which resulted in the decision to pursue the lattice option.
When used as a part feature highlighting the existing features, and cut on the diagonal, the lattice both complemented and lifted the garden beyond expectations.
We found that the lattice panels we decided upon were effective and certainly cost efficient in comparison to other materials. The tradesman we chose to do the job was also both effective and cost efficient. Glenn Stuart, from A Class Decks And Pergolas, provided a level of professionalism reminiscent of days gone by rather than the immediate grab your dollar society we now live in.
I'm sure we could all relate to horror stories of tradesmen who, don't show up, can't do the job promptly or simply don't do what they say they can. Others who do the work most often charge too much. It is with this in mind that I find it refreshing to meet a good honest worker who does good honest work for a good honest price. Isn't that what we all want?
Since first choosing Glenn, we have engaged him four times, lastly to provide lattice panels to infill a free standing brick pier garage as oppossed to fully bricking it in. At approximately 30% of the cost, the saving is self explanatory, but in our opinion the most important consideration for us is that it looks better. Glenn provided sound advice, was never pushy and was always polite and courteous.
Many thanks to Glenn from A Class Decks And Pergolas. If we can be of any assistance to you or your future clients, we would be more than happy to do so.

'Glenn has just recently finished building a Deck / Pergola on our house, and we are very pleased with the finished product.
From the initial quotation stage through to the end of completion, Glenn was always very helpful and willing to discuss every aspect of the job as it progressed, and any concerns that we may have had. We were very impressed with his work ethic, attention to detail, and he always made sure the work site was left in a clean and tidy state at the end of each work day.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Glenn Stuart (A Class Decks & Pergolas) to any person looking to have a Deck or Pergola built at their house.'
